1) What made you think of the name "Gloria The Xylophone Playing Cat?"

First, the group joked around with Gloria's name as the product's name. The name was finalized by putting it in the proposal because the project manager thought it was short, catchy name for a cat with realistic characteristics. 

2) Why the xylophone? Why not any other instrument?

The group first thought of using a drum, but it didn't have different sounds that can be played as compared to the xylophone. A xylophone was small, cheap, and was easier to code than playing a piano because of fewer and bigger keys. 

3) What made you decide on a music themed project?

This year, the professor allowed his class to chose any theme for the project. The first theme the group brought up was music, and so, it stuck and none of the members wanted to change it.
